Thomas Rollins was born in Lawton, Oklahoma. He attended the Grandfield ISD in Grandfield, Oklahoma, for his primary and secondary education.
In 1989, Thomas moved to Norman, Oklahoma, to attend the University of Oklahoma, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
After college he chose to pursue his love of gospel music.
Since then, he has worked in the gospel music industry in several capacities as well as in several of today’s top gospel markets. Thomas worked for Berean Christian Stores for twelve years in San Diego, California and Atlanta, Georgia, where he was promoted to the position of Senior Music Buyer.
In 2006, Thomas became co-owner of Jabez Christian Store located in East Point, GA where he performed the day-to-day duties as Senior Music consultant.
Currently, Thomas works for New Day Christian Distribution / Vital Gospel in the artist and repertoire (A&R) department. He has been with the company for three and a half years.
His interests are broad and varied. For example, while in high school he participated for four years in Future Business Leaders of America. As another example, he was lead singer in the gospel choir at the local church and taught Sunday school.
Although focused in the gospel music industry, Thomas has always been active in community service activities, specifically those aimed at empowering inner city youth.
He is a member of the Stellar Award Gospel Music Academy (SAGMA). Thomas has also been a member of the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) and the Gospel Music Workshop of America, and the Gospel Music Workshop of America Announcers Guild since 1996. Thomas is also a member of Gospel Music Association (GMA). He is a proud member of Elizabeth Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
Although he is unmarried and has no children, Thomas has a great love of family. He is the youngest of thirteen children (8 brothers and 4 sisters). When Thomas is not working, he loves to cook, go to movies, and travel abroad with friends and family and attend professional sporting events.
