Radio Announcer and Promotional Event Host!

This Gentleman is more than your average radio DJ! He has put his mind and heart into bring great gospel music to everyone across the United States through introducing independent artist to listeners everywhere.

Rev. Purvis, who is a minister of God’s Word, is also a radio announcer of 1350 AM WLOU and 1240 AM WLLV home based in Louisville, KY. He has dedicated 13 years to his listeners over the air ways. Through his duties at the station he has carried many positions. As director of community affairs he was able to be a part of the 2009 Radio Stellar Awards. In 2011, he took on the title of music director. He often states that is more than spinning music it’s getting involved.

“BAP” is also the founder and host of BAP Ministries which is a radio program that is centered on independent artist and creating relationships through fellowshipping. He has host dozens of praise parties showcasing independent artist such as, Eugene Cole, Endurance, Carolyn Traylor, Phillip Carter, Eunice Wright, Supreme Seven, Williams Singers and many more.

Purvis comes from a very close nit family, in southern area of Louisville, KY, where he has remained a resident all his life. He is a proud father of one, and the youngest of three.

Gifted in many ways, the Lord has blessed him with a dynamic preaching ability to get his word to his people. Brodric has been honored to preach throughout the country for many different pastors.

His sense of humor has warmed the hearts of many. He is a very friendly guy who enjoys good singing, good preaching, and always good food.
